Scholarships & Awards
We want YOU to be recognized. Be sure to check out the scholarships and awards that are available for professionals in our field. Know someone who is doing an outstanding job? Nominate them? Proud of your accomplishments? Nominate yourself! The best advocacy comes in being seen and heard. Let's showcase what we are doing in our libraries.
KLA/KASL Conference 2018 // Call for Proposals
The 2018 KLA/KASL Conference will be held September 19-22 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY. Our theme this year explores the ways in which libraries encourage, support, and sustain learning across the spectrum of life. We welcome proposals from our colleagues in all types of libraries.
Please submit the title and description of your program (150 words or less) and contact information for up to three presenters using the Google Form here: https://goo.gl/forms/rDjZxE27wlQsheGn1
Concurrent sessions will be 50 minutes in length, and will be held Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. While we'll make every effort to honor schedule preferences, your first choice cannot be guaranteed. If there are dates or times that you are not available, please note that in the comments field. Please also be aware that, in accordance with KLA policy, all accepted presenters must register to attend at least one day of the conference.
Proposals will be accepted through March 16, with notification of acceptance by April 20. Thank you for your willingness to share your expertise!
